Omer Day 3

Psalm 77

Verses 11-12

For I said: “I am weak with this—

The changing of the right hand of the Most High.

I will call to mind the deeds of Yah,

Yes, let me call to mind Your wonders from of old.”

(Translation is from Rabbi Richard Levy’s book, Songs Ascending)

*disclaimer: I want to remind you that what I write each day is my interpretation of the text. If you have a different perspective on what the words are saying to you, I’d love to hear them

Inspiration

Change can be trying. It brings about discomfort, fear, pain, and anxiety. Especially when we’re thrown into it. It’s important to remind yourself that you have had many changes in your life. You have shifted into new normals before. You have felt the fear and pain and anxiety. And you have overcome. Remembering past experiences is important, not just for the sake of nostalgia, but for the purpose of looking back and reminding yourself of how far you’ve come.
