Omer Day 41

“God is in her midst, she shall not totter;

God will help her as darkness turns toward morning.

Inspiration

Today, I want to talk about self-care. I’m not talking about the journal writing, bath taking kind of self care. I’m talking about the kind of self care where you hear your voice of intuition and actually listen to it. That voice is within you, it is within all of us, and it is there to guide us.

I was exhausted today. Fortunately, it was my day off, but I had plans. I wanted to call friends, cook a nice meal, organize the house a little. But that voice inside me told me it was time to rest. Thankfully I listened and it was a gift I gave myself. Self care.

Self care will look different for each of us. It’s about listening to our bodies and our souls. It’s about receiving the information that is passed to us and integrating it into our lives.

Today, practice listening to the small voice within you. The voice that has your best interest and care in mind. Let it guide you.

We all need love and care, and we have the power to give it to ourselves.

Love you all,

Rabbi Gabi
