Pirkei Avot, Day 20

Today, on Shabbat, we focus on surrender. We let go of all the things that challenge us (as much as we can), we melt into our existence. And through that surrender, we find peace, we find wisdom, we find compassion. Those are the things we want for ourselves on Shabbat.

I know it’s not always easy to let go, but it’s actually easier than you think. You just have to decide that you want to. I promise you that you won’t fall into a deep hole. You can let go. Peace and wisdom and compassion will catch you.

Shabbat Shalom to all of you and in case you forgot, I love you!

Rabbi Gabi
